Our Legacy

Founded in 1984 by a consortium of architects and neurologists, Liminality Pharma was built on a single question: Where do we go when we lose our way?

What began as a small research initiative into "waiting room fatigue" has evolved into a multi-billion dollar enterprise exploring the intersection of biological sleep and the physical spaces that exist between destinations.

Biological Studies

Our labs work tirelessly with both human volunteers and mammalian subjects to map the physiological response to "transient environments." We believe that the hum of a fluorescent light or the specific shade of a beige carpet holds the key to unlocking the brain's untapped potential.

Project Muridae

Our current flagship study, Project Muridae, examines the unique REM cycles of late-night "gamers." By monitoring the neuro-responses to low-light stimulation and repetitive digital tasking, we are closer than ever to understanding why some subjects report a "clipping" sensation in their own homes after prolonged sleep deprivation.

Note: All subjects are monitored 24/7. Spatial displacement is a rare but documented side effect.
